Our Patroness

Our Lady of Mercy

Our Lady of Mercy,

Teach us your ways and

lead us to Jesus.

Amen

The patroness and titular head of the School is Our Lady of Mercy, one of the many titles accorded to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Among Catholics, this special designation refers to Mary’s distinct role as intercessor and mediator who implores the divine favor of God who is the Source of all goodness and mercy. Since the establishment of OLMS in 1997, the School community has continued to rely on its patroness for guidance, protection, and inspiration in fulfilling the school’s responsibility and mission. The feast day of Our Lady of Mercy is celebrated every 24th of September.

Be thou our guide along life's road

As children of one God above

We'll Strive to live with faith and love.

May God grant we'll always be

Faithful to thy name

Rememb'ring all that you stand for

Now and evermore

Hail, Lady of Mercy!

Let Mary show the way to Christ

In all that life may lead us through

We'll seek God's wisdom through and through.

REFRAIN 2:

Thy knowledge that you impart

We shall strive to keep

We'll live like Christ for other men

Time and time again.
